Jasmine to Anya.

For the past few years I have been itching to dye my hair but never had the guts nor permission to do so. Christmas of 2007, I wanted to dye it jet black, but of course mama said no. I was in my punk rocker stage wearing eyeliner everyday—not too thick though, just enough to make me look like a “rakista”.

I, also, haven’t cut my hair this short or any shorter than a trim of 2 inches for 5 years. I was slightly nervous and reluctant. I’m glad I did it though, I did it for one reason. I cut and dyed my hair for my newest teleserye “Nandito Ako”. The length was my decision but the coloring was brought up and requested by our director, direk Mac Alejandre.

The minute he asked, I didn’t hesitate to nod and say an upbeat yes. Once I got in the car though, I began to freak out. I know it’s such a little thing that doesn’t really change anything in my life except the way I look but it was a first! And whenever I encounter first time experiences, I get nervous(as would everyone, usually—I hope).

So anyway, just wanted to share with you guys why I posted the photos. Can’t wait for NANDITO AKO, FEB 20 on TV5 :-)
