BBQ at the Heussaff’s.. I know these photos are long overdue but wanted to share them anyway :-) It was the first time in January that I was able to have a rest from all the workI was doing. It was Erwan’s late birthday celebration! I’d hire Erwan if I could for event planning, catering and as a DJ. He’s amazing. I love him!!
Thankful that I was able to attend it because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to in case I had work planned for the day. I slept in til 2.30pm that day and got up just in time to attend it. I stayed only until 7pm because the following day was an out of town trip for Nandito Ako taping. BTW, tonight the official music video will premier during the premier of Valiente on TV5! SO WATCH OUT!!
I don’t know about you girls but I love working with my sister, the pressure aside of course. I love working with her because not only is she THE Anne Curtis that every Filipino would know but also, she is the most hardworking woman I know(plus my mama and all other mamas). That’s why this new endorsement that we sealed for Lactacyd Confidence is a whole big bunch of fun and confidence.

Believe it or not, I used to be extremely shy around Ate. Yung tipong mahihiya pa ako magtanong para manghiram ng sapatos, damit o kahit palitan lang yung channel ng TV.

However, over the past few years, I feel like we’ve grown closer as sisters and as friends. Partly thankful to puberty for making me more mature and a teenager(haha, sorry if that bothers you). I reckon it was also due to our massive age gap that made me extremely super shy. We are 9 years apart, to those who don’t know yet.

And of course for girls, you all know what happens during our puberty stage. You know it. No need for me to say it. That’s why Lactacyd Confidence is perfect for me and all you other girls! Mas fresh gamitin ang Lactacyd Confidence. ;-) Trust me. Di ako basta basta nag a advice kung di ko pa natrtry.

All the shyness aside, I love you sis!!

My nerves, tummy and mind were everywhere as I prepared for this press conference. I’ve had my turn on firsts for press conferences but this was special and different because it was for my very first TV show.

With Ms. Flora Gaser and Ms. Bella Flores, they both play the adoptive grandmothers of Ben(JC) and Epal(Empoy).

Backstage, JC and I smiled for cameras to try calm our nerves.
It didn’t really help.

Morissette and Mark singing “Pangako”, the theme song of our show. Originally sung by Cueshe.

We met Sir Deo Fajardo, the director of the original film, then and there at the stage. (It looks like I’m pulling him in, but due to nerve reflexes, my hand instantly latched on to his wrist, weird)
We then watched surprise greetings from 3 special people:

First of all, my sister. I was surprised and touched by her sweet words, not only for me but for the whole cast and crew. Tears were present.

Ms. Vina Morales, the original Bing in the film! :)

And of course, Mr. Robin Padilla. Astig nito! JC and I were smiling as he said his message. I could tell that JC was really taking in everything “Binoe” was saying. It really shows how much he admires him not only as a person, but as a historical action actor.

Cast of AUKH: Carlo Aquino, IC Mendoza, Regine Tolentino, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, Jef Gaitan and Benjie Paras

Our cast also includes: Arci Munoz, Mariz Ricketts and Reinier Castillo.
